God promised that He would establish a New Covenant with humanity. That covenant was put into effect through Christ. He said “It will not be like the Old Covenant”. The shocking truth is that what most of the church appears to live and preach, looks awfully like the Old Covenant to me? It will never bring about “the glorious freedom” of which the bible speaks. The New Covenant is not a refurbished version of the Old Covenant!. To begin to understand the New Covenant, it is necessary to go back and realise that our whole life system has been built on and around something God said we shouldn’t do. Are you aware of what that is? Have we allowed the nature of God and the primary ways in which that is expressed to be determined by religious tradition or truth? The two are not always fully aligned! Can you open your heart and mind enough to allow the full truth of the NEW COVENANT to set you free as defined by God?
