Problems grow in both their size & complexity if not dealt with. The slavery of the children of Israel in Egypt, their subsequent deliverance and the obstacles they had to deal with on their journey to recovering a lost inheritance, are not merely marker points in a nations history. They are also richly symbolic in the lessons they have to teach us today. Jericho was a major marker in this process.
