TIMETABLE

The Academy timetable operates on a half termly payment schedule. Payments are due on the first lesson of every half term and will either be a 5, 6 or 7 week payment depending on the length of each term (all public holidays have been taken into consideration). SPRING 1 - 5 Week Payment
MON 09. JAN 2012 - FRI 10. FEB 2012

SPRING 2 - 7 Week Payment
MON 20. FEB 2012 - THU 05. APRIL 2012
NB (6 week payment for Friday Lessons due to Good Friday)

SUMMER 1 - 6 Week Payment

PERSONAL DATA

Any personal information stored by the Rock Academy of Dance is strictly confidential. and will not be shared with any other member or company

PAYMENTS & ATTENDANCE

If payment for the lesson is not made then you will not be able to take part in the lesson
Private students are to give 24 hrs notice for a lesson cancellation or the payment will be required in full
We appreciate a prompt start and therefore ask you arrive early enough to be ready for your lesson
All payments must be made on the starting date of the half term block. We accept cash, cheque (made payable to the Rock Academy of Dance) or debit/credit card
This is a non refundable payment unless the Academy has to make a cancellation to a lesson, in which case your money will be credited to the following half term

BEHAVIOUR

The Academy’s aim is to produce a community of life and kindness to one another. Each of us must play our part in creating this. The teachers at the Academy will not accept rudeness or offensive behaviour and reserve the right to dismiss you from the class if they feel it necessary

INJURY & MEDICAL

If you have a medical condition that you know could be affected during a dance class, it is important you inform your tutor and bring the necessary medication (if needed) to your lesson
Please report any injury to the teacher before you start your lesson and they will decide whether they feel it’s safe for you to take part
All teachers at the Academy are fully insured to practice. The Rock-Plex Centre is also covered under full public liability insurance
If an injury occurs in the class, then please report this immediately to your tutor and fill in the necessary paper work

CLOTHING, JEWELLERY & PERSONAL ITEMS

Please wear sensible and appropriate clothing and footwear for the style you are taking. Please ask a teacher if you are not sure what is required
We cannot take responsbility for any items lost or stolen. We ask that you refrain from bringing valuables with you to lessons
Jewellery must be kept to a minimum

FACILITIES

Please use toilets or cloak room (located inside Academy Hall) to get changed for your lesson. Personal items can be left on the stage area during your lesson
Pillars Coffee Bar is available before, during and after your class. This is for public use, and therefore ask students and parents respect this facility and not leave their personal items obstructing the seating areas
Car parking is available on both sides of the building. Spaces cannot be guarenteed as there are often other activities taking place on the premises. The Academy can therefore not be held responsible for any cars blocked in
Is it prefered that parents are not present in the lessons as this can cause a distraction for the student. If you wish to stay on the premises, then please wait in Pillars Coffee Bar
