2010 - Fern

This year’s Junior Student of the Year has been awarded to Fern Grimbley. Fern has developed massively in her technical execution and performs with a sense of grace and elegance. Fern also has an infectious inner beauty that radiates on and off stage and brings joy to those around her. In the last few years, Fern has faced her own personal struggles, but her strong will and determination has brought her though. Her journey has created a certain humility that is priceless and sets a beautiful example to those around her. Anthony Chapman, Senior Leader of the Rock says, ‘God did not create us to be human doings, he made us to be human beings’. I think this sums up Fern in one sentence. Fern makes an impression just because she is Fern. Congratulation on your achievement.
