This year’s student of the year was awarded to Danni Foster. Danni started attending the Academy in February 2005. Already training in Ballet, Tap & Modern Jazz, Danni wanted to try something new, and after watching Strictly Come Dancing, decided it was time to take up Latin as well. Her first show was in 2005 & it was evident from there that her hard work and commitment along with her enthusiasm and drive would make her a valuable part of the Academy. Through 2006, Danni continued to progress in Latin, but also took up contemporary and Ballet, continuing to develop her skill in dance. It was in 2006 the Academy |

successful showcase, Danni was
chosen to
receive it.
The ‘Student of the Year’ award is a way of acknowledging students who work hard and develop technically over the year. Therefore during lessons, teachers are watching for up and coming talent, deciding who will be next years ‘Star’.
