The Academy had a fantastic opportunity to work with World Latin Champion, Matthew Cutler. Students of all ages and abilities were able to train over 3 days in a variety of workshops. Some were even lucky enough to have a private lesson. Matthew and Nicole Cutler, stars of Strictly Come Dancing attend the Academy on a regular basis to inspire students with new techniques.

“Dancing with Matt was a blast. He was so kind and helpful and not at all intimidating, despite being a big star. He took me right back to basics, fine-tuning my steps so that I learnt to transfer my weight and move like a proper dancer.
To coin a phrase, you can’t learn to rumba before you can walk! It was hard work but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and thought it money well spent. And I got his autograph for my mum and a photo with him!”
